• On January 12, World Wrestling Entertainment, in conjunction with Bakus International, will begin airing WWE Programming on Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) in Brazil.

• World Wrestling Entertainment will begin broadcasting their programming in high-definition.
• Several wrestling news sites report that former Total Nonstop Action Wrestling stars Ron Killings and Chris Harris have been in talks with WWE. In addition The Big Show is said to be returning as well. Be on the look out for unsourced claims of these signing being added to their respective articles as well as the WWE Roster article.
• As of January 7, deturning Smackdown! Diva, Ashley Massaro has been drafted to the Raw brand.
