They are the Old West ancestors of the original Power Rangers, and temporarily obtain Ranger Powers when Kimberly Hart is transported to their time. As Rangers, the Wild West Rangers have outfits identical to those of their descendants, with a small exception: they have laces dangling from their gloves.
