Stephen Edelston Toulmin (born March 25, 1922) is a British philosopher. He was influenced by Ludwig Wittgenstein at the University of Cambridge.

Author, Professor at USC, seminal work in modeling arguments and developing the case for the Return to Reason, vs. Rationality.
