Oxford Round Table and Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Oxford Round Table are SPA-fests. After a discussion at Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Is_it_just_me... most of the accounts listed above were blocked as disruptive single-purpose accounts, but the blocks were contested in ensuing discussion (Misplaced Pages:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Review_of_three_of_the_above_blocks). A few have been unblocked. It turns out that there's extensive discussion of the Oxford Round Table on a forum hosted by the Chronicle of Higher Education () and the Misplaced Pages article has been discussed there; some of the listed accounts have said they're coming from that discussion.

A Checkuser would help clarify if any of the accounts are sockpuppets; if they are, they've been used to vote-stack at the AfD. --Akhilleus (talk) 03:26, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Forgot to mention that this article is the subject of an OTRS ticket (2008012410015146). --Akhilleus (talk) 03:30, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

I unblocked the user Amelia9mm, but noticed when doing so that literally one minute earlier the autoblock had been activated. The information given was a 6-digit number (#780040), so I couldn't see whether it was an IP address or a different username which triggered the autoblock. Orderinchaos 04:59, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
It should be noted that Coligny was (for some reason) not blocked, and that Amelia9mm, Drstones and Franknfair never contributed to the AfD discussion. Franknfair was blocked in January for a legal threat. Billingsworth and InformationKey have been blocked for suspected sockpuppetry (I don't think this has been checked by checkuser).
