Plot
Bowser gives Mario an evil mushroom as a gift, but the mushroom possesses Mario to do what Bowser wants, like kidnap Peach. Mario kidnaps Peach and hides her away in a vault. The gang must do enough Mario Party games to get 200 stars in story mode to get a normal mushroom for 100, and to unlock the vault for another 100. You get 25 stars each time it is completed in story mode. ( Mario and Peach are unlocked after you complete that mode along with the mushroom factory course.
The area of the courses are around the out skirtz of the mushroom kingdom setting up the finale of story mode in the real world where Peach has a baby girl named Alicia and Mario is the proud father. But Bowser at the end ambushes the mushroom castle with nothing but rubble left over. Then the credits come out. Setting a tragic end and an untimely message saying The Party Is Over.......
