Her career spans from 1981 to the present, and has been involved in a wide range of projects.
Biography
Born in 1961 in Melbourne, Lisa Gerrard grew up in an ethnic Greek/Turkish suburb with her Irish migrant parents.
Career
Dead Can Dance
Dead Can Dance originally formed as a quartet in 1981, but later moved to London with members Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard. The band recorded eight albums on the 4ad recording label beginning with the self-titled, Dead Can Dance.
