This user is no longer active on Misplaced Pages. This means leaving any comments here will likely be fruitless and it will be appreciated if you avoid doing so. Thank you for leaving this space blank. If you have an issue you think needs to be dealt with, don't ask me to do it. I don't want to do so, and I don't wish you to leave any comment here. Bring it up somewhere else where active editors can act on it instead. Thanks for respecting my desires

And just in case somebody is noticing my edits right now, all I'm doing is removing the instances of my old username in order to do what I can for privacy. All of the discussions should be obsolete, so please don't revert the changes, but do let me know if I'm doing something wrong right now. Note, if you simply disagree with what I'm doing, arguing with me is not appropriate, I'm not inclined to offer any specific explanations, or convince you of my reasons. I wish to leave Misplaced Pages and maximize my privacy. If you wish to discuss things, try finding other editors and developing a consensus. I recommend a policy talk page or the village pump. Also, if there is to be a discussion, it happens before you make mass edits, so stop. —Centrxtalk • 02:03, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Edits such as this one have you actually altering what other users have written. I can understand the hows and whys it happened, but it is still frowned upon to edit other users comments. As for the privacy, anyone can see the originals in the history but you're perfectly entitled to alter your own comments as you see fit. However you are also editing archived materials, and ones that specifically state at the top they shouldn't be modified. Canterbury Tail talk 02:04, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
