"It's Impossible" is the English language version of the Spanish standard "Somos Novios", written by the premier Mexican bolero composer Armando Manzanero. The song was translated into English by Sid Wayne and first recorded by Perry Como in 1971. It is one of the most popular boleros of all time, recorded by Elvis Presley, Perry Como, reggae legend Dennis Brown on a Studio One Album and more recently by Andrea Bocelli in a duet with Christina Aguilera. The Spanish version has been recorded by Luis Miguel and José Feliciano.
