He was chess champion of Vietnam, but fled the county as a boat person. He now plays chess for the United States.
He is the winner of more than 120 Tournaments in the US, Asia and Europe, and is co-author of Teach Yourself Chess in 24 Hours. He has columns and articles in many chess magaazines.
