Maddox (real name George Ouzounian) is an American writer, humorist, satirist, magazine columnist and internet personality of Armenian descent, who currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is the creator of the website The Best Page in the Universe. He attended the University of Utah, but does not hold a degree. His pen name Maddox was derived from the 1980s anime Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01. Maddox is hated by his mother, and he gets stoked when people criticize him.

Events

In 2004, Maddox quit working as a programmer for a telemarketing company. On May 9, 2006, Maddox, Tucker Max, and RudiusMedia blogger, DrunkasaurusRex, premiered a two-hour test show live on Maxim Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio. On June 6, 2006, Maddox appeared at the San Diego Comic Con with his comic book, The Best Comic in the Universe.

The Alphabet of Manliness

Maddox wrote The Alphabet of Manliness, which was published in June 2006. The book is illustrated and its format is a chapter-length entry for each letter in the English alphabet regarding a "manly" topic (for example, N is for Chuck Norris)
