- Bowyer-Smyth Baronets: This was a single British hereditary title, originating in 1661 and continues as of 2007. This title began as the 'Smith Baronetcy', granted in 1661 to 'Thomas Smith'. The second holder was Sir Smith's son, 'Edward Smith', who changed his surname to 'Smyth'. The 'Smyth Baronetcy' continued until the late 18 Century when the seventh holder changed his surname to 'Smijth'.

- List conventions: When runs of a particular country's nationals appear over several years, the first instance has the country name and thereafter only the first letter of the country name. When multiple people from one country can be grouped together as all being born in the same year and all are still living, this is indicated as a superscript number after the parenthetical birth year.
