According to an August 2005 issue of Style magazine, Rodriguez was introduced to Holmes soon after her first date with her fiancee Tom Cruise. Many have suspected Rodriguez, a member of Scientology's elite group, the Sea Org, to be a Holmes' personal Scientology flak, answering questions for her that deal with Scientology's public image.
