Article by Vasiliev

Russian source (article by Vasilev) does not tell for what reason she was fired from newspaper. If you think it does, please place here the corresponding segment of text.Biophys (talk) 23:53, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Once again, please reply here and place the text, instead of reverting me.Biophys (talk) 04:59, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Your ability to overlook the facts which does not suit your political bias never ceases to amuse me. Article says in plain Russian "каждый раз ждешь ее заметок с нехорошим предчувствием: вдруг наврет в фактуре? И предчувствия частенько не обманывали..." That covers "repeated distortion of facts", isn't it? Speaking about low quality of her reporting, article refers to "По итогам ее работы в Кремле про эту кремлевскую диггершу у меня, ее бывшего любимого руководителя, спрашивали только одно: "А правда, что ли, красивая бабца?"... Ну что я им мог ответить? Сиськи – во! Попа – во! Ну, еще ростом повыше меня. И все. Больше вопросов по книге не имеется." Vasiliev unequivocally refers to Tregubova's presumed physical attractiveness as being the main reason for keeping her in pool, despite quality of her reporting. "Conflict" part is pretty obvious, but if you want me to bebysit you to every line, read this: "Теперь вы меня спросите: а что же ты защищал-то Трегубову? А защищал я ее, потому что не имеет права кремлевская администрация диктовать главному редактору, кого ему делегировать в "кремлевский пул"... При этом – понты были дикие. Классический пример. Приходит ко мне такая гордая и заявляет: "Все, я на Суркова обиделась. Больше с ним не разговариваю". " I also took liberty to apply more NPOV language "profile" instead of "popularity" and such. It seems to me that two publications (with unknown results) abroad and one letter to Die Zeit does not merit claim of "popularity". By the way, feel free to add sourced claims that Tregubova wasn't a professional failure but acclaimed reporter. I am a big believer in giving all facets of a story to a reader and letting him/her decide. RJ CG (talk) 13:10, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I asked you to place the fragment of original Russian text (with English translation) that tells something like that: "She was fired for distorting facts in her publications". None of texts you provided tells: "she was fired for...". It tells: "She was beautiful; she had big tits and butt", or "She told: I am not talking with Surkov any more", or "I protected her from Kremlin's administration", and so on.Biophys (talk) 15:00, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I understand your crusade to have facts not in sync with your biases removed, but you're going over the top. "каждый раз ждешь ее заметок с нехорошим предчувствием: вдруг наврет в фактуре? И предчувствия частенько не обманывали..." means "every time I was waiting her for text trembling that she will lie in factual data. And my fears were often confirmed." Quality of reporting: "People asked me the only thing: was she pretty", expressing their amusement as to why exactly was she kept in the pool. And then vasiliev goes on to praise quality of the other guy's writing, as opposed to Tregubova. Regarding "getting into conflicts" bit, isn't "She had a hollow bravado of unbelievable size. (the best I could come up with for "понты были дикие" - RJ CG) She could barge into my office all proud and strutting and declare that she refuses to interact with Surkov anymore." RJ CG (talk) 15:24, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
You inserted the following text: "newspaper pulled her out of the Kremlin press pool for low quality of her reporting, repeated distortion of facts". The source your cited does not tell that. Please read WP:SYN. Besides, a newspaper can not pull out anyone from Kremlin's pool. Only Kremlin can. Biophys (talk) 15:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
You know what? It ceases being funny. I posted link to article in Russian (language you obviously master). You sid it does not contain certain facts. I copied those facts for you in Russian here. You said it does not have English translation. I translated. Now you completely avoid any discussion of facts and just say they are not there again. Sorry, it does not work. Any references to SYN aren't relevant here, as all facts I posted are coming from the saim source. I don't claim this is absolute truth and any disagreement is deplorable. I made it very clear that those are views of certain someone, published by WP:RS. And if you don't agree that newspaper is capable of assigning people to the Kremlin's pool, feel free to add sourced description of the process. RJ CG (talk) 15:47, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
This is very simple. You did not provide any citation to support a defamatory claim indicated by bold leters above. Still, you insist to include it, which is against WP:BLP.Biophys (talk) 16:00, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
I guess we need an independent Russophone editor to confirm/reject the claim that I did inaccurate translation of article (which still leaves an option to include translation of Vasiliev's words as they are in article). Than somebody should investigate if Vasiliev's statement really constitute violation of WP:BLP. And by the way, your snitching had been noted. RJ CG (talk) 16:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
