Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Rick Barry. Thank you. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 21:48, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi Paul. Thanks for all your work on Rick Barry, the new infobox is a nice touch. Just remember that it's a good idea to use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Good luck and happy editing. Bash Kash (talk) 03:34, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Question re Chicago Bulls all-time roster
In your edit summary, you wrote, "If a player played only one year for a team, it would be better to leave only the succesive year of one season." Could you explain why? It's easy (with the help of sources like this) to figure out exactly when a player was on the Bulls' roster. Zagalejo^^^ 23:35, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sure, Basketball-reference.com does it that way, but we don't have to follow their lead. Personally, I think their system is kind of confusing. It's really not that difficult to find precise dates for each players' duration with the Bulls. In addition to the link above, I have access to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times newspaper archives, so in most cases, I could find the exact date a player joined the Bulls and the exact date when he left. Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I reverted the last pair of edits you made to the article because the "cleanest city" citation (from Forbes) is already in the article, with a cite from Forbes itself, rather than a Yahoo link that will expire in a week.
