Requests for IP check

  • Vandal and attack accounts may be listed here for the purpose of identifying and blocking the underlying IP address or open proxy. Requests to confirm sockpuppets of known users should be listed in the sockpuppet section above.
  • If you already know the IP address of the suspected open proxy, list it at Misplaced Pages:Open Proxies instead.
  • Use === Subsections ===; do not create subpages.
  • List user names using the {{checkuser|username}} template. Add new reports to the top of the section.
  • Requests may be acted on or declined according to the discretion of the checkuser admins. Responses will be noted here. Specific evidence of abuse in the form of diffs may be required so as to avoid the impression of fishing for evidence.
  • Answered requests will be moved to Misplaced Pages:Requests for checkuser/IP check/Archive for 7 days, after which they will be deleted. No separate archive (other than the page history) will be maintained.

User:Heee46

This is my first CU request, so if this is not exactly properly formatted or placed I apologize. After blocking Heee46 for vandalism, all of the above have appeared harassing me and User:C.Fred. They all appear to be the same person. Autoblock is not stopping sockpuppet creation as new accounts have been created shortly after the block of old ones. I'm looking for a CU for a range block of the vandal's IP. Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information. KnightLago (talk) 04:33, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Bsrboy

After 86.29.132.226 was blocked for personal attacks and vandalism (example), Bsrboy made the same edits as the IP (link). When Bsrboy made the edit, perhaps he thought he wasn't signed in. The timing of the edits by the IP and the user don't conflict, and the IP leads to the UK where his userpage says he lives. Spellcast (talk) 23:19, 10 April 2008 (UTC)  Confirmed In fact, 5 of Brsboy's recent IPs have current soft blocks for IP vandalism and several more have recent blocks that are now expired. Clear evidence this user is logging out to vandalize. Rangeblock for a week, account indef banned. Thatcher 02:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

I've noticed this user (Bsrboy2) editing wikipedia. I can only assume this is a block evading sock puppet of Bsrboy. If its not, it would be an amazing coincidence! TheProf - T / C 19:03, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Also noting User:Bsrboy3. Looks from Special:Listusers like that's the last one for a while, but.... Hersfold 21:16, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
