Bucketball

The game of bucketball combines the sports of hockey, basketball, and football. It is played on a field of 50 ft. V. & 40 ft. H. It can be played

indoors or outdoors. Here are the rules of Bucketball:

The game starts off with a team throwing or tossing the ball (small tennis ball, raquetball, or etc.) to the other team.

The team that starts off with the ball has 4 downs (counts) to store a goal.

  • Any shot that goes in the bucket is worth an amount of points:
    • hits of the wall\goalie and goes in the bucket is worth 1 point.
    • bounces in from the front\back of the bucket and goes in is worth 2 points.
    • goes over the head of an opponent and goes in is worth 3 points.
  • Here are the Types of Penalties:
    • (Tripping) tripping an opponent (the ref waves his hand down at his feet)
    • (Bad Words Code) saying bad words or fail language to other players (the ref crosses his hands in an "X" over his mouth)
    • (Goalie Wrapping) pushing the goalie or trapping the goalie so he\she can't block or make a save (the ref puts his left hand behind his right hand): (when an opponent shoots the ball)
    • (Shot Clock) running out the shot clock or taking to much time to pass the ball (stalling)
  • Note : the ref will count down from 30 (saying 30,29,28, and so on.)
  • Here are the positions:
    • Guard (spiker) this player's job is to stop as many shots as possible. (1)
    • Attacker(scorer) this player's job is to try to score goals. (2)
    • Bully (defender) this player's job is to stop the other team from passing the ball or scoring. (2)
    • Total (players) (5)
