Neelima Azeem (born Kanwal Azeem) is an Indian TV actress and the mother of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor from first husband, Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor. They divorced when Shahid Kapoor was 3 years old.

Her father was Anwar Azeem, a prominent Marxist journalist and author.

Neelima Azeem has majored in classical Indian Dance and is known in India for her TV shows.

She also worked in Hindi movie, Sadak opposite Deepak Tijori.
