Born in Sidcup, Kent UK on 14th May 1971
He trained from the age of 8 at the Patricia Hammond School of Dramatic Art in Chislehurst, Kent.
His first acting role was playing Dame Maggie Smith's son Alistair Carson in Tom Stoppard's "Night & Day" at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End.
He also appeared in the West End in Alan Bennett's 'Forty Years On' alongside the late Paul Eddington and Stephen Fry.
Matthew has appeared in BBC daytime drama serial Doctors and the musical Boyband at the Gielgud Theatre in London's West End.
He is currently in a rock/pop/electro band called JEAN and is partner in 'Madhen Productions' MADHEN PRODUCTIONSwho provide live entertainment for corporate events, private parties, theatre gigs etc. in the guise of various bands; 'SCIZZOR SISTERZ', 'SO BLONDIE', 'SO 80'S', 'GREASED', 'CLASS A' and 'MADHEN'
