I have created WikiLook Firefox browser add-on that would look up any word for you using Wiktionary. You can download it from Mozilla (registration required) or from public hosting site one site two (right click, Save Link As, and then open file using Firefox).

There is a new version of WikiLook available for download: 1.1.0
I'm really looking forward for some feedback that will help to determine, should add-on be auto-enabled at Firefox start up or not...

How to use:
1. Highlight any word or idiom with your mouse.
2. Move mouse pointer just a bit, still holding it over selected word.
3. Wait half a second.
