This user account is a bot operated by T-rex (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it. |
Approved tasks
- Template Redirection Removal
- Function - Removes double redirects from templates (see request)
- Approval - Approved
- Operation - manually started for each catagory of templates
- Edit Speed - approximately 1 per minute (guaranteed to be under four per minute)

- Where - wherever needed/wherever requested
- Details - it resolves all redirects from all templates in a given category, and all sub categories.

- Function - Subst's templates

- Operation - once a week, fully automatic

- Details - it subst's templates that should be subseted

- HTML Conversion
- Function - Removes html tags from articles (like <b> ), and replaces them with wiki-markup (like ' ' ' )

- Edit Speed - max speed of 3 edits per minute, average speed is unknown

- Where - to be run primarily on the wikify catagories
- Details - converts tags for <b> <i> <em> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6>

- identify dupes using Multichill's tools (possibly replace with my own or another tool)
- confirm that the images are "bit-for-bit identical copies"
- move all links and image transclutions to a single image.
- mark second image as a duplicate for deletion
- notify uploader of about to be deleted image
It has been approved for use, while further tasks are still being developed.
