Like the prince, Middleton is a graduate of the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. She was raised in Berkshire, in the south of England, and previously attended Marlborough College. She also graduated with a 2:1 in history of art.
She is the eldest daughter of Michael Middleton, a British businessman, and his wife, Carole. Her parents own Party Pieces, a mail order company which sells party accessories. She has two siblings, Pippa and James.
Relationship with Prince William of Wales
While attending St. Andrew's University in 2001, Kate met Prince William and they have since been involved in a relationship together. As of August 2005, there has been much speculation that Kate and William plan to marry. These rumors (neither confirmed nor denied) were fueled as Kate begins to spend more time with the Royal Family and was presented to the Queen. Rumors are currently floating that she and William are planning to move in together and eventually marry.
