Seann William Scott

Seann William Scott (born October 3, 1976 in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, USA) is an actor.

Scott's first commercial success came with the massive 1999 hit movie American Pie as Steve Stifler, a role which he later reprised for both sequels. It was precisely this role that both brought him to fame and came to define the character-type he would consecutively take on in following high-profile projects (mostly, comedic ones). He also had a cameo role in Kevin Smith's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

As for upcoming projects, Scott is currently filming Southland Tales, taking on a starring role as a police officer, and he is one of the three actors considered to play Eddy in the live-action version of Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Quotes

  • "I don't do drugs or alcohol. I don't party. I don't watch porn. And I don't date in Hollywood--ever. (...) I don't eat. I never really have an appetite....I don't really like to wear underwear--is that gross? I'm always the guy that is just kind of weird." People Magazine, December 1, 2003
