I assume that you blanked your talk page...

...because you were tired of reading the advice that people were giving you concerning your edits, but I hope that you'll take that advice to heart anyway. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) 23:08, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Little context in Gilbert Levy

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Gilbert Levy, by another Misplaced Pages user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Gilbert Levy is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Misplaced Pages:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Gilbert Levy, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Fact tags

I believe you've been told this before, but considering your recent edits, pleasse let me reiterate that a "fact" tag does not necessarily mean that the information should be removed from an article. The material is not necessarily untrue, an editor has simply requested that it be confirmed with a citation. If you'd like to help these articles, you might want to do some research and see if you can come up with a citation to support the disputed material, or a clear refutation. If you find something that refutes the tagged information, then you would be justified in removing the material, although it would be best to rewrite it with the citation to prevent the false material from being inserted again.

In a nutshell, given your past behavior, I think it would be best if you do not remove any fact tagged information unless you have proof that it is not accurate. Thanks. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) 17:40, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
