Ulf Gunnar Ekberg aka Buddha was born on December 6, 1970 in Göteborg, Sweden to Mats and Monika Ekberg. He is one of the four members of the Swedish pop group Ace of Base. His father is the former tennis coach of the Swedish and Danish national teams. Growing up, Ulf experienced problems with drugs, and now fights against violence and the abuse of drugs among adolescents. He was also an active nazist and played in white power band Commit Suiside tgether with Anders Klarström. He now resides in Marbella, Spain. His previous girlfriend was Emma Sjoberg, a renowned model and actress.
