Perrette studied sociology, psychology and criminal science in college. She graduated with honours and later went on to earn a Master's Degree in Criminal Science.
Perhaps somewhat related is the profession of her character Abby Sciuto on the TV series NCIS, as she is a forensic scientist. Abby is an interesting part of the gallery of personae, with her relatively eccentric style and personality. Perrette has also had roles in a range of films and some TV series, including several guest appearances in a large number of TV series.
Having many talents, Perrette is not only an actress; she is also a singer and a poet. She also has her own production company, GO Records.
Perrette currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
