Royal Box
Hi, I see that you and I have differing views on whether Royal Box should be included in the Madonna template; it would be good to discuss this on the talk page for the template. (I've not reverted your change as there's no value in starting a war on the topic withour discussion, but I'd like to hear a more solid justification for its inclusion.) Statue of Madonna
Statues are relevant to person articles, image is free licenced An example is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Vikrant 19:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
An example is Madame Tussauds. Vikrant 19:21, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Jwad, please do not undo my changes to the Madonna page
I detailed why I made the changes to the page on the Discussion forum. Please do not hawk the page. I know you mean well. Maddyfan (talk) 19:50, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I second Maddyfan's opinion. And there is no reason, no policy or guideline that prevents the use of statue images. So what if they are made of wax. It is relevant. Stop edit warring or else I'll have to report all this. Vikrant 15:44, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Hard Candy
Please stop with the back-and-forth with the tables. The article's Talk Page has a discussion started about the formatting. Please don't change it back repeatedly, or boldface the song titles, etc., etc. The table, as it is right now, is fine and adheres to style guidelines in WP:ALBUMS. There is no reason to keep changing this. Thanks. - eo (talk) 17:12, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop with the table and headers formatting
Column headers (or article sub-headers), per WP:MoS, should only have the first word capitalized unless it is a proper name (i.e. "Production credits", not "Production Credits"). Also, your insistence on putting width restrictions on the columns that do not need them doesn't take into account the way tables look on different browsers and computer monitor sizes. Please stop disrupting the Madonna album articles. - eo (talk) 13:54, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not ruining what youre doing, I am making corrections to the formatting. The tables do not look squashed and there is no reason to place width restrictions where they are not needed - i.e. the column widths will automatically configure to the text inside of them. This allows different browsers and monitor sizes to see the tables correctly. Please also note the comment above about the headers. - eo (talk) 14:04, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Madonna albums: OK, before big edit wars begin.....
I see what's starting here with the latest edits. Let's discuss on the Talk Page for Hard Candy about track list formatting, since it has already started there. Edit warring is a waste of time for everyone and I'm sure that editors can come to a consensus (please read that page). Thanks. - eo (talk) 02:22, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Please stop the unnecessary tables in Madonna album pages containing esoteric information
Hi,
I believe that you have interpreted the following paragraph of the WIKI ALBUM guidelines:
Particularly for hip hop albums, it is helpful to list which members of a group (or guests) rap on which verses as well as mentioning sampling sources. This can be done in a nested list, as in the example above. Using a table is recommended in more complicated situations (see Before These Crowded Streets for example). If a table is used, it should be formatted using class="wikitable", using column headings "#", "Title" and "Length" for the track number, the track title and the track length, respectively.
But please not the words in bold. At NO POINT in the whole of the WIKI ALBUM guidelines does it suggest to include esoteric, unnecessary information such as 'producers', so PLEASE stop reverting to an elaborate but unnecessary table. The format of Madonna's albums is currently under discussion in the Talk page of 'Hard Candy', if you feel strongly about the use of tables, please make your opinion known there and we can all try to reach a consensus.
Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reqluce (talk • contribs) 02:28, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
I am not making disruptive edits. I am only trying to provide the correct info. I've tried that many times, but someone else keeps filling in the wrong info. I don't mean to cause any problems, but I think it's rude for everyone to point their fingers at me, thinking I'm making disruptive edits. Providing the correct info is not disruptive. I apologize for any inconvenience, but if I see something as being incorrect, I'm going to make an edit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KieferSuth1985Marx (talk • contribs) 06:51, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Honestly, I do not care what YOU think is unacceptable. As far as I know, you are not an administrator of this site, therefore, you don't have the right to block me. I AM NOT vandalizing anything. I'm making reasonable edits to info that is incorrect. —Preceding unsigned comment added by KieferSuth1985Marx (talk • contribs) 01:57, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
Question about Def Leppard
I was wondering: Do you know if Def Leppard's 2004 album, "Best Of Def Leppard", had a U.S. release? —Preceding unsigned comment added by KieferSuth1985Marx (talk • contribs) 04:14, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi. Why did you report this user's edits as vandalism? Please read Misplaced Pages:Vandalism to understand what vandalism actually is. Neıl ☎ 13:04, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- The Girlie Show Tour and Drowned World Tour have no references for the set lists. How is anyone to know what the correct set list is without a source? Neıl ☎ 13:22, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- You're right, but before only you knew it wasn't correct (and how was I to know whether you or the IP were right?) - now everyone can tell. Thanks for adding the references :) Neıl ☎ 14:50, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Justin Timberlake
Would you mind writing a few entries on Justin Timberlake's page about his working with Madonna, and appearing in her video? There's no mention on there now.76.124.165.253 (talk) 15:47, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Madonna Roseland Ballroom Pic
Do you have any copyright info for this image? I contacted the uploader, but they have not responded and it looks like they have a history of not filling out image identification. It would be so sad to lose this picture. Any ideas?

RfD nomination of Sticky and Sweet Tour
I have nominated Sticky and Sweet Tour (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) for discussion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Save-Me-Oprah 19:33, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
Re; Sticky & Sweet Tour
I was wondering why there was no afd box on that.. I probably should've just closed the afd as "dealt with", since it was and i don't know if the two were the same or not. Thanks for catching that. Wizardman 21:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Article talk pages are for discussing the improvement of the article and/or to gather a consensus about issues pertaining to the article. They are not to be used to express your personal beefs with other editors or topics unrelated to the article. Leaving comments such as this is considered uncivil and can lead to a block if it continues. - eo (talk) 17:20, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sticky & Sweet Tour Poster.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Sticky & Sweet Tour Poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:14, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Sticky & Sweet Tour
Then I highly advise you to report since I have already expressed my concerns about your edits to several admins. As stated before, a fan site or message board is not a reliable source (as you often do in your contributions to Misplaced Pages and you have been "warned" by several editors in the past, yet, you continue to make the same mistake) and I simply asked for you to find one. But, you childishly tried to confirm the news on yet another fan site. So until you do so, I will revert your edits because they are unconstructive Dancefloor royalty (talk) 11:23, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Hard Candy Promo Tour
I understand that you may have disagreed with the outcome, but the page was made into a redirect per the Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Hard Candy Promo Tour (2nd nomination). Even in the previous nomination, the possibilty of merging the info onto the main page was raised. Thus, please feel free to write the info in the main page, but don't go around reverting changes and labelling them as "vandalism" when it clearly isn't. Thanks. Madonna Tour Articles
I just wanted to make you aware that I have reverted all of your recent edits to all Madonna tour article pages. I highly suggest that you familiarize yourself with Wikipedi'a policies, which does state that no sole editor has ownership over any article. Meaning, you cannot revert edits based upon your personal feelings on how an article is displayed or what information is within that article. However, I feel that you are going to start an edit war with me so I have already sent messageto an admin making them aware of this matter. I strongly suggest you do not revert any edits on any of the articles until a decision has been made. Enjoy the rest of your day. Alkclark (talk) 01:26, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- I have already been told by three different admins that my edits were fine. If you continue to alter these pages in any way, I will have your user name and IP address blocked. Alkclark (talk) 05:22, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I contact eo and did not here a reply from him so I contacted three admins that I knew personally and was told that there was nothing unconstructive with my edits. If you actually took the time to my edit summary, it stated that I edited the article to have conhesions with other Madonna tour article, as every article does not contain the same amount of information as others. However, I have more important things to do then sit and play little games with you. If you cannot handle being spoken do as an adult and having a civilized conversation, I highly suggest you find others things to do with your time. Alkclark (talk) 08:37, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Madonna tour sections
I would like to get your opinion on another user, Alkclark (talk) who has been changing the Madonna tour sections; The Virgin Tour, Who's That Girl World Tour, Blond Ambition World Tour, The Girlie Show World Tour, Drowned World Tour, Re-Invention World Tour and Confessions Tour. This user has been restructuring the content with the history and details at the end of the article. I have been reverting it back to its old structure as I am going in accordance with Misplaced Pages:Style
I have mentioned to the user the details in accordance with the Style guide
- It is inappropriate for an editor to change an article from one style to another unless there is a substantial reason to do so; for example, it is unacceptable to change from American to British spelling unless the article concerns a British topic. Edit warring over optional styles is unacceptable. If an article has been stable in a given style, it should not be converted without a reason that goes beyond mere choice of style. When it is unclear whether an article has been stable, defer to the style used by the first major contributor.
I have also contacted Ericorbit who agrees with the correct structure of having the History, details of the Show, then other information after that. I need your help as Alkclark (talk) is edit warring and believing he has ownership of this article. Please help! I need mediation! Alkclark is starting to use threatening behaviour which I would also like to report to you. JWAD (talk)

Album chronology
I went through Madonna's studio albums and modified the chronology a month ago. Template:Infobox Album#Chronology says that only studio albums should be inserted in that section. However, I saw you restored the old, incorrect ones. Please don't do this again. Thanks. Do U(knome)? |or no 21:20, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Madonna articles
Please stop taking the edits of Madonna's article's too personally. You do not have ownership of her articles and you should welcome edits and have a discussion with the editor(s) with edits you do not agree with. As posted on the Incident board and Lifebaka's talk page, I justified all of my edits in my edits summaries. A set list/ running order is NOT a DVD or CD tracklisting (as you were editing them). I have requested that the CT article become unprotected. This is just plain silly. You are an adult. You cannot get mad and act like a child when you do not get your way. Dancefloor royalty (talk) 01:37, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Dancefloor royalty, do not make personal attacks against other users by calling them children. While some editors might be, it is condenscending and not useful to constructive discussion. Thank you. lifebaka++ 02:24, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- That was in no way a personal attack and if it was taken that way...then so be it. Unfortunately, I live in the real world where people know how to handle their problems. He or she is an adult and if he or she cannot be handled being spoken to like an adult then they should find other things to do with their timeDancefloor royalty (talk) 06:04, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Confessions Tour
Regardless of your personal opinions regarding Madonna's official site, information on the site is deemed accurate. Additionally, this is a fan driven or fan created site, it is done by employees of Warner Bros and I am sure any information is that displayed on the site is approved by Madonna or her personnel. Regardless of whether it is a fan title or not, regardless of whether its printed in the tour book, it is used on that site, thus it is accurate. KM*hearts*MC (talk) 21:04, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Blond Ambition Tour Title Dispute
Here are several articles written in 1990 (during the time of the BAT):
- Madonna's Bare Ambition; At Cap Centre, the Vamp Of Video in a Stage Spectacle The Washington Post June 9, 1990
- MADONNA'S 'BREATHLESS' CAPTURES A '40S AMBIANCE The Worcester Telegram & Gazette June 17, 1990
- 'Material Girl' to perform on HBO. (rights obtained to Madonna's 'Blond Ambition' concert tour) Multichannel News July 2, 1990
- PUTTING BLOND AMBITION TOUR ON ITS FEET Philadelphia Inquirer June 14, 1990
- `BLOND AMBITION' TOUR MAKES ONE LAST STOP ON HBO St. Paul Pioneer Press August 5, 1990
Along with two records at the US Copyright Office:
- Madonna--the "blond ambition tour" from Barcelona United States Copyright Office 1990
- Madonna--the "blond ambition tour" from Nice US Copyright Office 1990
Regardless of your "feelings" towards Madonna's official site, you cannot fight anything that is listed on the page. You are not Madonna. You are not an employee of Warner Bros. Records and you are not the designers of that website. I am sure that they were pulling information from official documentation from Warner Bros. Anyone can title a DVD/VHS/TV special anything they want, its doesn't mean its a reflection of the tour name. This dispute has been solved. Please do try to argue or cause any further commotion concerning this matter. KM*hearts*MC (talk) 03:38, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Once Again
Why are you trying to fight legal documentation? It's pointless and rather tasteless. As I've stated before, YOU WERE PROVEN WRONG on many factors. Get over it! What's childish is the fact that is constantly insist on one-upping someone like a child on the playground. You need to grow up and step into reality. Giving off the facade that you're right and everyone else is wrong is completely and utterly depressing. In no way did my statement threaten you or harm you in any way. But, if you feel that I've "threatened" you, then yes I did and feel free to report me to whomever. You have my humble permission. As another editor has already informed you, if you call yourself an adult, I will treat you and speak to you as an adult. Since you want to act like a child, you will be treated as such. Once again, I've ended this spat (with which you did not start with me but rather User:Dancefloor_royalty here) and have included every possible title in the article. End of discussion, end of disagreement. But, I am sure you'll scream an holler (and do other things a 5yr old does when they don't get their way) till you get your way so go ahead.
