Józef Goldberg) (1907-1981) was a Polish-Jewish communist activist, and member of Soviet NKVD and Polish communist Ministry of Public Security of Poland. Involved in torturing opponents of the state (from anti-communist activists to more liberal communists), he gained notoriety as one of the most infamous secret police operatives of the Polish communist security apparatus. He was finally arrested in 1953, and in 1957 sentenced to 15 years in prison, and released in 1964.
Brother of Jerzy Borejsza (b. Beniamin Goldberg).
