Kaylan was born in Mogultur, Andhra Pradesh, India. He acted in many hit movies like Tholi Prema, Thammudu, Kushi and Suswagatham. He also directed a movie named Johnny, which is heavily influenced by Hollywood style. His next film is titled Bangaram and is slated to be released in September 2005.
