Characters
The main character of Final Fantasy XIII is Naav, an angsty, dark, 17-year-old mercenary with daddy issues. Critics of his design say that Square-Enix has resorted to unprecedented levels of yuckiness in order to please the modern gamer. Although no images have been released, an anonymous source within S-E has stated that"the game takes place in a tropical environment, so we had to take off some clothes. w00t!" When asked about Naav's design, the source said "he is blond and is dressed only in a blue speedo. He is also covered in baby-oil." He then went on to comment on Naav's "huge 'sword.'"
Not much is known about the female lead, except that she is a magical princess.
