26 is a group of people who care about the state of business writing, and want to inspire a greater love of words in business and in life. It was started in 2003, in London. Founders include the writers John Simmons, Tim Rich, Jim Davies and Tom Lynham. It now has around 300 members and has 'chapters' in Scotland, northern England, the midlands and in the south-west of England. Members include writers, editors, publishers, designers, artists, business people and a wide range of individuals interested in everything from creative writing to business language. It has published three books and holds regular events and talks. Its website is at http://www.26.org.uk
