It has been sold in 1⁄20, 1⁄10, ¼, ½, 1, 2, and 5 ozt. Note that they are denominated in "onza" (ounces) directly instead of in pesos. The coins are .999 fine silver. On one side of the coin is a winged Victoria in front of a landscape with the volcanoes Popocatépetl and Iztaccihuatl. The opposite side shows the coat of arms of Mexico, sometimes along with the obsolete versions.
