Revision as of 13:22, 15 October 2005 by ScottDavis (talk | contribs) (categories)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Road-rail bridges are bridges shared by road and rail lines, as an economy measure compared to providing separate bridges. Road and rail may be provided with separate tracks, in which case trains may operate at the same time as cars. Alternately, road and rail may share the same track, in which case - like a level crossing - road traffic must stop when the trains operate.
