João Pedro da Silva Pereira (born February 25, 1984 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays for Portuguese side Sporting Clube de Braga as a right back.

Pereira was part of the Benfica squad that won the 2005 Portuguese championship, starting often, until a fallout with coach Ronald Koeman relegated him to the bench. He was sold to Gil Vicente FC after a previous loan to the same team and, a year later moved again, this time to SC Braga.Pereira is also known for his fiery temperament, that leads to altercations with adversary players numerous times. After such a great success in the 2007/08 season he played some fantastic games at right back attracting some attention of many european top flight clubs coming close on a few times of a transfer like portuguese giants Benfica and FC Porto and itlian giants Napoli.
