Gormsson, Harald II Bluetooth, King of Denmark (Danish Harald Blatand) (German Harald Blauzahn). Harald was born about 910 and under the emperor acceded as king of Denmark in 940. Difficulties with his son Sveyn I Forkbeard forced Harald to seek refuge at Jomsburg, between the Oder and Vistula river at the Baltic Coast, where he died in 986. This stretch of land was later called Pommern or Pomerania.
