Malik Sealy (February 1, 1970 - May 20, 2000), a native of Bronx, New York, was a guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1998 until his death in a car accident. Sealy had been in the league for 8 years (previously playing with the Indiana Pacers, the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons),and was in his second year of playing with the Timberwolves when he was killed. He was initially drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 1992 draft.

Sealy acted as a mentor to Kevin Garnett and was returning home from a dinner celebrating Garnett's 24th birthday at Monte Carlo Bar and Cafe in downtown Minneapolis when he was struck by a pickup truck traveling the wrong way down the highway. The truck was driven by 43 year old Souksangouane Phengsene, who survived the accident with head and chest injuries.

Sealy is survived by his wife Lisa and son Malik Remington as well as his parents, Sidney and Ann. The Minnesota Timberwolves have set aside a permanent locker for Sealy at home and during away games set up a locker for him next to Kevin Garnett's locker. Template:Hoopsbio-stub
