John Baldacci (born 1955) is the governor of Maine. He is a member of the United States Democratic Party. He was elected governor in 2002, receiving 47% of the vote, defeating Republican candidate Peter Cianchette, who received 41%, and Green candidate Jonathan Carter, who received 9%.
