- Moss Lane works (SE of Whitefield Station)
- Cotton Mill on Green Lane
- Turnpike roads (Radcliffe New Road was one)
- Whitefield station sidings
- Trams (not metrolink) - one ran up Radcliffe New Road from Radcliffe
- Cinemas - hard to believe now, but there were at least two
- Sport - cricket ground south of All Saints Church, and Golf Course between south end of Stand Lane and Dales Lane. Its still there but reduced in size.
