Why can't Tulu be mentioned?
Please do not remove Tulu. Discuss first and then remove. Thanks, KensplanetC 07:04, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Tulu is no way related to dharmasthala C21K 07:19, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for discussing. I accept I may be wrong but You have to discuss. May I know why Tulu can't be mentioned? KensplanetC 07:20, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Why it should me mentioned? C21K 07:22, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Because it's in South Canara and the dominant language of South Canara is Tulu. We have no problem in mentioning Kannada as it is the state language. But if Tulu is removed, it will not be tolerated. Tulu has cultural influences with the city. That's the reason it has to be mentioned? KensplanetC 07:29, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- This temple is for lingayats not for Tuluvas...tulu has nothing to do here. Your logic wont work here, wiki is not the place to express your opinions. C21K 07:32, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's a temple town not a temple. KensplanetC 07:33, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Ha ha , have you ever visited dharmasthala, the whole town is a temple. C21K 07:34, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
In that case, I want you to provide an online REF saying that Dharmasthala is a temple town only for the Kannadigas. In that case, I promise I'll stop. Can you? This shoul be easy. KensplanetC 07:41, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Its for lingayats(kannadigas,telugus,malayalees) not for tulus C21K 07:42, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Please provide a reliable REF. I don't beleive you since I have been never been to the place. We here on Misplaced Pages work only on reliable REFS not oral statements. It's a humble request that henceforth you shall not remove Tulu and other local languages from Mangalore related pages. I actively monitor these pages. KensplanetC 07:46, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Pls stop, you are the one who added tulu here, pls provide an online reference to show this temple is for tulus. C21K 07:48, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- You started the process http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Dharmasthala&diff=261257074&oldid=261110454 Why did you remove Tulu. KensplanetC 07:52, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
- Please note that Dharmasthala is not in Mangalore, its a separate town just like mangalore C21K 07:54, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Tulu is not mentioned there. C21K 07:57, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

- Please check the above reliable source which i provided. Dharmasthala is located in Belthangadi taluk (not in mangalore). and also check the languages spoken, the source says Kannada,Hindi and English but tulu. tulu is not a local language of dharmasthala. Kannada is the local and official language of dharmasthala. C21K 08:07, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
