The Valley Hospital is a 451-bed community not-for-profit hospital in Bergen County, New Jersey. According to the hospital's website, "In 2007, over 48,000 patient were admitted to Valley, 66,553 people were treated in the Emergency Department and more than 3,200 babies were born." In 2007, Valley Hospital was awarded the J. D. Power and Associates recognition for "providing an outstanding inpatient experience" for the fourth consecutive year.

Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

The Valley Hospital operates three paramedic fly-cars: ALS 401, stationed at the hospital, is in service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. ALS 402, stationed in Mahwah, is also in service 24 hours a day. ALS 403, stationed in Hawthorne, is in service eight hours a day, Monday through Friday. The primary service area of Valley Hospital MICU consists of 16 municipalities: Allendale, Fair Lawn, Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock, Hawthorne, Ho-Ho-Kus, Mahwah, Midland Park, Oakland, Paramus, Ramsey, New Jersey, Ridgewood, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Waldwick, and Wyckoff.
