Ranbir Kapoor is the son of Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. He is the sister of Riddhima Kapoor.
He is part of the legendary Kapoor clan of Bollywood. His great grandfather was Prithviraj Kapoor, his grandfather was Raj Kapoor, his great uncles are Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor, his uncle is Randhir Kapoor and his cousins are Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Nikhil Nanda who is married to Shweta Nanda, the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan.
There were many rumours that he would be joining the film industry, but as of now it has not been confirmed. The latest rumour is that he will be debuting with Sonam Kapoor, the daughter of Anil Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial venture.
