But now has become an online community where friends can post pictures, write blogs and send messages to one another.
Users create an account (or respond to an invitation), then invite their friends to do the same, so that they can see their account. In the event of a friend's details changing, he or she will be notified of the fact, and will therefore always have up to date contact information. Bebo also allows users to post comments in various sections of a users account, such as; pictures, blogs, white board and the users account home page.
Bebo also sends birthday reminders for a user's contacts via email.
