Frauenkirche, German for Church of Our Lady, in reference to the Blessed Virgin Mary, is the name of various churches throughout the German-speaking regions of Europe. The most well known chruches bearing this name are the Dresden Frauenkirche (Protestant) in Dresden and the Munich Frauenkirche (Roman Catholic) in Munich.
