Paul Montgomery "Pauly" Shore (born February 1, 1968) is an American actor best known for starring in a series of comedy films in the 1990s and hosting a video show on MTV in the late 80s and early 90s.
Biography
Early life
Shore was born Paul Montgomery Shore in Hollywood, California, the son of Mitzi Shore (née Saidel), who founded The Comedy Store, and Sammy Shore, a comedian. Shore grew up in Beverly Hills, graduating from Beverly Hills High School in 1986.
Career
Shore's career began when he became a MTV host, alongside Jeff Leiber, a position he held from 1989 to 1994. Pauly had his own show, Totally Pauly, and served as a host, most memorably on MTV's annual Spring Break parties.
