The Headbangers were the tag team of Mosh & Thrasher in the WWF (now WWE). As the name of the team implied, their gimmick was that they were a pair of headbangers, complete with heavy metal related T-shirts and piercings. The team first debuted on WWF TV as the Sisters of Love, proteges of manager Brother Love who dressed as nuns. The gimmick was short-lived, but they kept the skirts when they became the Headbangers, and later had T-shirts with the words, "Real men wear skirts." They eventually realized that they sucked, and that only Rowdy Roddy Piper knew how to wear a skirt (Kilt in his case), so they took them off WWF programming, it was about time anyway, have they since been seen in a popular wrestling ring?..thanks to God..no.
