WikiProject Germany Invitation

Hello, ChrisHH! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

You're welcome

You're welcome.

= ) --Cameron* 11:24, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Vandal against CoA

Thank you for keeping an eye on the "Loriga" article. I used to do that myself but I've been having some trouble in connecting to the Internet for these past 2 months. That guy is well known to thrash Loriga’s name, even beyond the Misplaced Pages pages, because its Coat of Arms and Viriathus. As you had the chance to see, he doesn’t add anything to the articles. All he does is to erase texts/images that don’t suit his needs in order that his opinions prevail. See that he never mentions reliable sources to support his attacks.

He’s the boss of his websites (he’s entitled to do what ever he wants there) but he forgets that here you can only insert information with reliable sources. He lives in central Portugal, far away from Loriga, has low academic studies (probably you can’t see but he makes terrible orthographic mistakes in simple Portuguese words) and all he wants to be in the notable loriguenses' list. He created a Coat of arms which was promptly rejected by Loriga’s authorities which made him turn against local authorities and everything that shows the only CoA that Loriga has. I couldn’t care less about the CoA but the one in the article is the real one and all sources show it.

I'm going to put some photos here which prove that the CoA that appears in all Wikipedias is real and it's used in Loriga's official documents. I’ll try to scan some commemorative medals that bears the CoA too (I don’t know how they are called in English, those medals with +/- 7 cm diameter). Thanks. Back from holiday, thanks for this little snippet of information! :). --ChrisHH (talk) 17:11, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on One More Time (Daft Punk song). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. just64helpin (talk) 16:11, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Misplaced Pages! I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Fritzl case#Something weird is happening at the German Misplaced Pages are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Jenuk1985 | Talk 07:55, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
