AVPS or Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School is one of the best schools in Kerala. There are 2 schools one in vypeen and the other being in Kakkanad.
Staff
The principal or headmistress of this educational institution is Mrs.Helen Qbert Job,The manager is Mr.Josy Maracanchery and the father of all vidyaniketan institutions is known as archidose of Verapoly.there are many teaching and non-teaching staffs.
Food
the Kakkanad institution has a canteen where pazhampuri(palamboori), bonda, cutlet,orange squash,ice cream,(tea and coffee only for teachers and parents).
Uniform
Students should wear the grey uniform on every day other than wednesday.On wednesday students must wear white shorts and their house jerseys.All students must wear their house badge (blue,green,red and yellow)which is easily available for all students at the cost of Rs.10/- each. Student must also wear proper uniform,shoes,belt,hairband (for girls),socks etc.
Forbidden
Students are not allowed to bring any electronics, cds, fancy items, or bubble gum. All these things can be brought only on Onam, Childrens day and on Christmas.
