Welcome

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Misplaced Pages:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Misplaced Pages:

  • Respect intellectual property rights - do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
  • Maintain a neutral point of view when editing articles - this is possibly the most important Misplaced Pages policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such information or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account being blocked from editing.

The Misplaced Pages Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Prodding protocols

As a completely new editor with no substantive edit history, you should be made aware that prodding is only an option for articles you honestly think nobody could object to. Articles that were previously prodded (by other brand-new-at-the-time accounts for no reason, curiously enough) and deprodded do not count. Articles that have references which you remove and then claim there are no references don't count either. In fact, really, as a brand new user who obviously doesn't get how these things work, you should just not prod anything until you spend some time on Misplaced Pages learning the ropes. Or, if yo have been using multiple accounts, you should go back to your original one. DreamGuy (talk) 17:14, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

you seem like an asshole, so piss off. Azviz (talk) 20:45, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry case

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Azviz for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. MuZemike 23:03, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Conclusions

  • Clerk declined Insufficient evidence of either serious pattern vandalism or abusive socking to warrant CU Mayalld (talk) 12:03, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Clerk, patrolling admin and checkuser comments

  • Delisted: There is a gap of nearly a month between Wordssuch's single day editing career, and Azviz registering an account. Wordssuch was not blocked, and even if this is the same user, there is no overlap in account use that could be a block avoiding tactic. At the very most we have a newbie abandoning one account and starting another. Mayalld (talk) 12:10, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

The false claim of sockpuppetry by the trio of MuZemike, DreamGuy, and Cannibaloki has been proved to be baseless. These three users (actually one user on three accounts) is a known abuser of Misplaced Pages, and has been blocked many times. It is time that this asshole is banned permanently. (P.S. For the record, I am not, and have never been, the user Wordssuch, which was the false claim against this account; but I do empathize with this user if he was the subject of this trio's harassment.) April 2009

Welcome to Misplaced Pages. Although we invite everyone to contribute constructively here, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors, as you did with this edit to Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/9691 Zwaan. You may wish to read the introduction to editing for more information about Misplaced Pages. Thank you. Kingpin13 (talk) 16:37, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Please do not attack other editors, as you did with ] this edit] to User talk:Azviz. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. ~~~~ CrispMuncher (talk) 17:52, 3 April 2009 (UTC).
