He with Dave Bainbridge co-founded the influencial Christian progressive and celtic folk themed band Iona. Now concentrates on Christian litergical music, teaching his subject at Norwich Cathedral School and elsewhere.

Woodwind player and song-writer Dave Bainbridge is co-founder of IONA. His own material has moved more towards the quieter, contemplative, litergical music.
