The AN/PVS-22 or Universal Night Sight is a Picatinny rail mounted in-line night sight designed and manufactured by Optical Systems Technology and issued with the existing telescopic sight or red dot sight. It utilizes a third generation image intensifier tube. The AN/PVS-22 can recognize a standing man at starlight past 500 meters. The AN/PVS-22 has no shift in boresight alignment in relation to the day sight point of impact.
