The Hawiye tribe is the largest Somali clans. They live mostly in central and southern Somalia. It is largely agreed that they controll Mogadishu and have broadest business in Somalia. The are descended from the Irir Samaal. Somalia Youth Leage (SYL) chairman Abdullahi Isse (1948 - 1959) was Hawiye. Mostly they who fight for Somalia Independet as Somalia First President Aden Abdullahi Osman was Hawiye year 1960 -1967.

Most Somalia agree that Irir Samaal tribe has a largest business in Somalia, like airlines Tele - and Money transfer companys etc.
